We broadcast the city council meetings live on Channel 7 the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month. We also rebroadcast it on Tuesday evening at 9 p.m. and again on Wednesday at 9 a.m. and again at 8 p.m. You still have another chance to watch again on Sunday at 2 p.m. Channel 7 is provided by at no cost by Cox Cable and is only able to be viewed locally at this time. There is also announcements about local events and it showcases our wonderful community. Watch it and tell us what you think by emailing the Information Technologies Department.

Social Media
The City of Hutchinson is now using social media, like Facebook and Twitter, to connect and engage citizens and find out more about what residents want and need in our community. It allows us the opportunity to hear about you and address your issues and concerns online so that others can benefit from the information as well. Anyone and everyone can comment on our social media sites which allows us to learn about issues and topics that concern the members of our community and respond accordingly. It also allows people from other cities and location throughout the world to communicate with us and opens a whole world of information to us about making our community a great place to live, work and play.

Website
Our website is where people can go to get a wide variety of information about the City of Hutchinson, the services we provide and information about the great community we live in. The difference between the website and City Hall is that the website is open 24 hours a day. The information never has a busy signal or is closed due to weather or holidays. If you don't see the information you are looking for, email us and let us know. If you are interested in it, others probably are too. We welcome your suggestions, ideas on ways to improve the website and comments.
