Our system adds the $30 fee when we generate the order to send a water technician to disconnect you.
The difference could be a toilet that you have to jiggle the handle on, a water softener that may cycle too much or a dripping faucet that causes an increase in usage. If you own a business, it could be an ice machine causing this issue.

The USPS no longer processes mail in Hutchinson. Any mailed items are sent to Wichita for processing, then return to Hutchinson to be delivered.
The stormwater fee is assessed to each property in order to collect the money needed to fund numerous projects to help stormwater exit the City and reduce flooding. You may contact the City Engineering Department for information on the calculation of the fee and how you may be able to reduce your property’s fee.
Delinquent notices are a courtesy reminder that we have not received your payment. We send them two days after the due date. It is possible we mailed the delinquent notice the same day we received your payment. At this time, we are not able to remove your name from the delinquent mailing list unless we have received your payment beforehand.
