1. Why are the fire station phone numbers not listed in the phone book?

Hutchinson has an enhanced 911 system for all emergency calls. To avoid an emergency call not being answered due to units being out of the station, the station phone numbers are not listed. Non-emergency calls are routed through 620-694-2871.

2. How do I get a burn permit?

Call Fire Administration at 620-694-2871 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at least a day in advance of your proposed burn.
